Pulling on the lead
Jumping up
Damaging property
Obsessive behaviour
Self harming
Messing indoors
Excessive barking
Fears
Aggression to dogs
Aggression to people
These are just a few examples of what we may call inappropriate
behaviour by our dogs. There are many, many more and they can make living together with 'mans best friend' a nightmare
for you and your dog. It needn't be like that.
Without fear or force, gizmos or gadgets, you can both enjoy
a life together you never dreamed possible. All you need do is give me a call.
I offer a home consultation, at which time we
can run through a typical day in your dog's life, and I can see how you get on together. It is best if all members
of your household are present during this time as, being fundamentally pack animals, your dog's behaviour
is affected by contact with all of you. The aim is to identify anything and everything which is interfering with your
ability to 'talk' with your dog and which may be causing problems. I will then spend as much time as is necessary
teaching you how to understand what your dog is 'saying' to you, and how to let him know what you expect of him.
The entire visit should take about 3 hours after
which I will let you have a list of my recommendations, as quickly as possible, depending on whether we are using e-mail or
'snail' mail. I will then remain available to you, to help you deal with any problems you may encounter,
FOR AS LONG AS YOU NEED ME. Just contact me by telephone or e-mail. It's as simple as that.
Fees: Maximum £150 (plus travelling) for
Consultation and Life-Time telephone and e-mail back-up . Follow-up visits can be arranged at 50% of the initial
charge.
NB.Countless people have paid up to hundreds of pounds for a puppy, just to abandon the grown dog to rescue kennels
when it becomes too much of a handful.
